Myisha brings research and evaluation expertise in K-12, post-secondary education, and state education agencies. She manages center projects and works closely with student research assistants. Myisha has experience in providing program planning, implementation, evaluation, capacity building, and strategic planning to both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has worked extensively in the areas of community outreach, engagement, and youth development.
She is currently pursuing a PhD. Her research interests include: Black adolescent males and educational achievement, the geography of educational opportunity, and the achievement gap.
When she’s not working, Myisha finds time for yoga, running, listening to live music, and trying new restaurants.
