Overview
The Washington University Network of Dissemination and Implementation Researchers provides individuals interested in dissemination and implementation science with an informal research network. The group holds open meetings in which members share information and resources, learn about D&I methods and tools, and participate in hands-on peer critiques of grants and publications.
The Evaluation Center partnered with the Washington University Network of Dissemination and Implementation Researchers to update its existing logic model and evaluation plan, as well as engage stakeholders in the evaluation process through key informant surveys and interviews.
Project Description
Background
The Washington University Network of Dissemination and Implementation Researchers (WUNDIR), was created in 2012 to provide individuals interested in dissemination and implementation (D&I) science with an informal research network. The group aims to introduce D&I concepts to those new to the field and forge a transdisciplinary understanding of the methodological issues and conceptual challenges required for multi-year dissemination and implementation research grants. WUNDIR holds meetings every six to eight weeks in which members share information and resources, learn about D&I methods and tools, and participate in hands-on peer critiques of grants and publications. WUNDIR meeting are coordinated by the Center for Dissemination and Implementation and the leadership core called the Working group Of WUNDIR (WOW).
WUNDIR engaged in a comprehensive evaluation planning process in 2016, and updated its evaluation plan to reflect current activities and evaluation priorities.
