Overview
The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences at Washington University is the academic hub for clinical and translational science in Missouri, building on three translational research pillars: infrastructure and support, education, and scientific collaborations.
The Evaluation Center partnered with the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences to interview key stakeholders about its services and activities in preparation for its 2021 renewal application.
Project Description
Background
The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) helps support and advance clinical and translational research at Washington University in St. Louis. As a recipient of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA), the ICTS aims to increase the efficiency and speed of clinical and translational research on the local, regional, and national level.
The ICTS program at Washington University was established in 2007 and received five-year renewals in 2012 and 2017. In preparation for the new CTSA call for proposals, ICTS was interested in gathering input from stakeholders to help inform the grant submission.
