Missouri ZIP Health Rankings Initiative
Jun 2016—Sept 2017
Type of Evaluation
Missouri ZIP Health Rankings was a joint project between Washington University investigators and the Hospital Industry Data Institute to explore ZIP code level health factors and outcomes indices for Missouri. The Evaluation Center partnered with Missouri ZIP Health Rankings to develop an evaluation plan and an end-user survey that would apply to future iterations of the program.
Missouri ZIP Health Rankings Initiative (MO ZIP) received a one year grant from the County Healthy Rankings to support a proof of concept development of ZIP code level health factors and outcomes indices for Missouri. The Brown School Evaluation Center collaborated with Missouri ZIP Health Rankings to develop a logic model and evaluation plan to guide in program planning and evaluation efforts, as well as an end-user survey of the prototype data display platform. The Center also assisted with evaluation-related components of a proposal Missouri ZIP Health Rankings planned to develop for the expansion of its work.
