Xiaoyu is an evaluation assistant at the Evaluation Center and a MSW student at Washington University in St. Louis. As a graduate student, she assists with implementing evaluation projects, including research, data collection, data analysis, data visualization, and report development. Before her graduate program in social work, she majored in finance and then she worked in Internet companies as a product manager and data manager for several years. Xiaoyu is interested in alleviating poverty and helping marginalized groups. With a hybrid background in finance, the Internet, and big data, she hopes to bring more innovation into social work.
In her free time, Xiaoyu enjoys hiking and sleeping. She had explored many mountains around Beijing in her hiking trips.
